Each plant carries a model of its own soil: pot volume, substrate, light, and the dry-down rate measured between its last two waterings. The next watering date is the day moisture is projected to cross the line — recomputed every night, not counted off a calendar.
The Doctor, powered by Botanical Vision v5, reads one photo and returns disease, pest, light and growth stage — with the findings boxed on the image itself. It holds the previous frame beside the new one, so the verdict is a trend, not a snapshot.
Water, mist, feed, or move it somewhere brighter, over 7, 14 or 30 days. The vitality curve, the moisture curve, and the dated timeline of what happens next all recompute in the browser, against this specimen's own telemetry — with the do-nothing curve drawn beside it.
Bind any soil-moisture, temperature, humidity or conductivity sensor Home Assistant can see to one specimen or a whole room. A fresh reading overrides the model estimate, a moisture spike logs the watering by itself, and a rising salt trend warns before the burn.
Dormancy halves the dry-down and holds feeding until the season resumes — hemisphere-aware, from your location. Frost and heatwave alerts read the forecast against each plant's tolerated band, and 5 mm of rain credits an outdoor plant its watering.
Overdue, due today, and this week — grouped, one tap to log, and the schedule re-derives the moment you do. Repotting surfaces when the Doctor flags root-bound; dormant plants sit in a quiet group with no button at all.
Toggle what you'd do — every panel re-projects as you tap. This one is an illustrative model of a declining Ficus Lyrata, so it can run before you have an account. Inside the Sanctuary the same control drives your specimen's own vitality kernel, in the browser, with no network round-trip.

Any soil-moisture, temperature, or humidity sensor Home Assistant can see works today; bind it to a specimen or a zone, and a fresh reading always overrides the model estimate. Direct pairing and voice assistants are on the roadmap.
A chatbot forgets your plant when the chat ends. Botanical Legacy keeps a per-specimen Digital Shadow that has watched this plant for months and simulates it forward from its own telemetry. Ask a chatbot and it guesses from a description; toggle a what-if here and the answer is projected from your plant's history.
